Pumas Talent Identifaction Program

The Pumas Talent Identification Program was introduced in 2008, targeting young, talented athletes and extending their basic netball skills. The program incorporates advanced instruction in the skills of attacking, defending, footwork and ball work under the guidance of our experienced and accredited coaches.

During the grading process, the TID is selected from our U/9s and U/10s. These players attend training one extra night per week for a period of 10 or more weeks, excluding the school holidays. During this time the squad will attend at least one carnival held outside the BCNA area as a means of extending their skills into a competition format within a higher age level.

The program also aims to develop a player and parent insight into the committment required at a representative level within BCNA. Pumas hope to encourage its young talent (both players and coaches) to strive towards becoming a future BCNA representative.
